Original Gallery Uploaded![]() I now have my original gallery up along with a new image: my contribution to Jisuk's card deck project, Broken Spell. More info on that in the near future. The story I based my image on is The Juniper Tree, quite the enjoyable read ~
Otakon is fast approaching and I'm feeling very unprepared. There's never enough hours in a day to get all that I want done. I only have half a month left — that'll surely fly by in no time. If only I could stop time! ...I'd probbaly never start it up again, ahaha. 'orz

Store Section Up!I've just finished adding the Store section to my site, so prints of my work are now for sale online—at least until I run out of stock. Contents of my Store will always be changing as I run out of product and put up new things, so check back often! Much thanks to all of you who support me by purchasing my work~

Finally an update..![]() I finally have the beginnings of my gallery put together, though it's still a work of progress. I added my two newest fanart pieces there, one Persona 3 and the other Ace Attorney. Anime North went well, I had a lot of fun and met some really great people. Thanks everyone who stopped by to say hi~! Unfortunately, it was a trigger for the end of an event that had been going on for a long time where someone... had been pretending to be me. This imposter hurt and lied to a lot of people under my name, which ticks me off, but I'm just glad no one was hurt.
So please, please be careful with who you trust on the internet. If you meet someone online in an obscure place that's claiming to be a popular artist or writer, always be wary. Find the email of the artist on their webpage and email them asking, just to be sure. If it really is me you're talking to, I won't be offended at all in your wanting to be sure. These kinds of things happen more than you know. I don't understand why people can't just be themselves. I'm really not that interesting. Really.

I have some good news~!![]() I managed to secure a table for Otakon and Anime North this year. I'm so relieved I was on the waiting list for AN. I only have a month left to get all my work done! Unfortunately, Pie-IX isn't on the list. We'll be selling it at Otakon instead since Jaida can't make it to AN. I think I finally figured out how to deal with my ADHD when it comes to drawing. I have a really hard time focusing on my work and just getting images done. Jon made the obvious suggestion for me to listen to Podcasts while working so my brain has something to do while my body is drawing. And it works! I may have just been saved. Well, except for the fact that I'm still having an incredibly hard time drawing anything decent. My Persona pic is only working out because I already have the thing sketched/drawn. [insert art here]Ok, my blog is finally up properly. Sadly, I don't even have any art to put up with this update. Fortunately, I have finally found a program that doesn't crash on me; I downloaded the trial for the newest version of openCanvas and it's been working, so once I can afford it I'm going to dish out the money for it.So what that means is that I'm finally not afraid to draw on my computer. Hooray! :| I'm currently working on a Persona 3 fanart and hopefully my next update will have some art to go with it. Thanks for being patient!

I need to get this done already...![]() And then it was March. Or the passing thereof. I hope to get more of my website together this week. Installed a blog I need to set up so my front page looks better and I can get rid of this temporary "blog" layout. Sorry for my pathetic excuse of an art website at the moment. :| videogames adobe digital anime manga The convention went well for such a small one, though I could only make it for one day. Thanks to everyone who stopped by~ I'm in the process of getting new images done for Anime North in two months. Unfortunately, I was only a few seconds late of getting a table this year, but I'm on the waiting list so here's hoping I get one. I plan to have some Persona 3 and Tales of the Abyss fanart this year. My bestfriend from the UK will also be joining me, so I really look forward to this year's AN. Only two months~! How quickly the months fly. I hope I can get everything together in time! :) final fantasy adobe wacom illustration Did you know that it costs more for me to mail a package within Canada than it does to the US? ~ March 19th, 2008 @ 20:15 |
Program Rant![]() So I've been doodling more to get my drawing groove back. Hope to have some new works soon as I have a bunch of conventions to attend this year and have a lot on my 'to-do list'. videogames digital anime final fantasy I think my main problem is that I feel betrayed by my drawing programs. BETRAYAL! Painter crashes, openCanvas crashes; I can't draw much of anything digitally without the fear of losing everything. And I've been drawing digitally for so long that it's hard for me to draw on paper now. I really need to just stop complaining, suck it up, and draw already. wacom adobe illustration Anyway, speaking of conventions; I'm going to Animaritime next weekend to sell my work. If you're going, stop by to say hi~! ~ February 25th, 2008 @ 16:56 |
Website up~!![]() Finally got my new website back up, sorry for the delay~! Everything's pretty much complete except for my gallery. Just getting this site together was enough of a headache for me, so I'll tackle the gallery another day. I'm wondering if I should only make a gallery for my newer work. I could spend more time making my gallery look good if I had less to work with. Maybe throw my older stuff in a directory for people to flip through if they have the interest. Oh well, for now I'll just focus on my newer work and figure out what to do with my older stuff later. So yea, if you haven't already guessed, I've turned the main page of my site into a sort of sketch blog. I haven't drawn much of anything for three months while I was employed at a game studio, so I need to get back into the flow of things. :lalala: Will try to update this as much as I have things to write about. Or just spam sketches when I don't. art programs digital anime manga It's a beautiful and clear night out, perfect for viewing the lunar eclipse that's currently taking place.
